Debito, you should make the people asking you to post this on your blog do a better job. How can a candlelight vigil happen in the daytime?
Why don’t they just announce a protest over the consistent and total failure of the State Department to protect all the children kidnapped to Japan? Couldn’t they organize the protest so protesters could hold up pictures of the hundreds of kids thus abducted? Couldn’t they hold this at the Embassy and all the US consulates in Japan?
– Yes, I should make them. Pass the cattle prod, somebody.

James, you’re misreading it. The protest begins during the daytime, but the candlelight vigil begins at 7 p.m.

James, it is a rally taking place at 2pm in front of the Japanese Embassy, and later, at 7pm a candlelight vigil in front of the White House.
At the rally, there WILL be signs, photos, and multiple speakers.
