Arudou Debito in Sapporo<\/p>\n<p>\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nCall for Presentations<br \/>\n7th Annual Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Peace as a Global Language<br \/>\nSeptember 27-28, 2008<br \/>\nSeisen University, Tokyo, Japan<\/p>\n<p>Submissions related to education and research in the following areas are invited:<br \/>\npeace, the environment, human rights and other global issues,<br \/>\nintercultural communication, values, health, gender and media literacy,<br \/>\nforeign language education focusing on global issues.<\/p>\n<p>Presentations may be in English or Japanese, or bilingual.<\/p>\n<p>The following presentation formats are possible:<br \/>\npanel discussion (50 \u2013 110 minutes)<br \/>\nworkshop (50 minutes)<br \/>\nresearch presentation (50 minutes)<br \/>\nposter sessions (no limit)<br \/>\nother (please specify clearly).<\/p>\n<p>Presenters may be teachers, students, researchers, journalists, activists and others interested in education for a better world.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions should be no more than 100 words, with a 30 word abstract, and accompanied by the following information:<\/p>\n<p>\u00ac       Name &amp; contact details of each speaker<br \/>\n\u00ac       Format (Please also indicate if you are willing to give a poster presentation instead of another format.)<br \/>\n\u00ac       Presentation language (English, Japanese or bilingual)<br \/>\n\u00ac       Equipment required (please be very specific)<br \/>\n\u00ac       Preferred date of presentation (September 27 or 28)<\/p>\n<p>Applications may be rejected if the information provided is insufficient.<br \/>\nSubmissions should be sent by e-mail to: pgljapan@yahoo.co.jp<br \/>\nSubmissions may also be sent by post to the following address:<br \/>\nYasuko Shimojima,  1-14-C-102, Karabe, Narita-shi, Chiba  286-0036 Japan<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for Submissions: June 27, 2008<\/p>\n<p>Notification of Decisions: On\/around July 18, 2008 via e-mail<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Please note: Our budget is very limited.
