At this time we are working on the English and especially the Japanese version. Daniel [one of the other directors] will come to Japan in March 2009, so we are planning to show the documentary several times in March. The documentary is 58 Minutes long (45h of raw material) in the actual version&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The five-minute coming attractions reel is here, in English and Japanese:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vimeo.com\/2276295\">http:\/\/www.vimeo.com\/2276295<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thrilled to report that the interview with me was even in the coming attractions (watch to the end from the link above), which featured a little visit to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debito.org\/roguesgallery.html#Shinjuku\">Kabukichou where we uncovered some of the JAPANESE ONLY signs<\/a>. \u00a0Apparently a little tete-a-tete I had with one of the exclusionary shopkeeps was also included in full in the final cut.<\/p>\n<p>If I hear word of where those screenings will be in March, I&#8217;ll let readers of Debito.org know. \u00a0Happy Xmas Eve, everyone. \u00a0Debito<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOUR STRAWBERRIES, a German-Japanese documentary about Japan&#8217;s labor migration and human rights, came out in Germany in September.
