When such changes have been made, please visit\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/webmasters\/tools\/reconsideration?hl=en\"><em><strong>https:\/\/www.google.com\/webmasters\/tools\/reconsideration?hl=en<\/strong><\/em><\/a><em><strong>\u00a0to learn more and submit your site for reconsideration.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sincerely, Google Search Quality Team<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong> <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Note: if you have an account in Google&#8217;s Webmaster Tools, you can verify the authenticity of this message by logging into<\/strong><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/webmasters\/tools\/siteoverview?hl=en\"><em><strong>https:\/\/www.google.com\/webmasters\/tools\/siteoverview?hl=en<\/strong><\/em><\/a><em><strong>\u00a0and going to the Message Center.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>==============================<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ends. \u00a0I have since notified my sysadmin of the problem, but he cannot find these keywords anywhere on the site. \u00a0There are apparently even ways to project these onto the site remotely to fool the search engines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Debito.org has since been delisted from Google. \u00a0I have of course notified Google of both the situation (i.e. we can&#8217;t find the text they&#8217;re talking about) and of our inability to fix the problem. \u00a0I also expressed annoyance that, despite Google&#8217;s incredible reach throughout cyberspace, they are being irresponsible to say we have a problem, but not tell us on what page it&#8217;s on so we can fix it. \u00a0It&#8217;s like saying that we failed a test, but teacher isn&#8217;t going to say what questions we got wrong, or what we can study next time for the makeup. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So we&#8217;re stuck, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debito.org\/?page_id=2\">thousands of other pages of information about how make a life in Japan<\/a> (not on the blog) unsearchable. \u00a0Damned unfair. \u00a0And if Google keeps carrying on in this manner, a lot more places are going to be delisted unfairly; other bloggers beware.<\/p>\n<p>Advice from cyberspace appreciated. \u00a0Arudou Debito in Sapporo<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tangent:  Google has notified me that they&#8217;re delisting Debito.org from its search engines for cloaked text inserted on our site.  Yet Google won&#8217;t reveal on what page it&#8217;s on so we can fix the problem.  We can&#8217;t find it.  So we&#8217;re stuck with an unfair delisting and that&#8217;s that.
