Saturday Tangent: Historian Howard Zinn, author of “People’s History of US”, dies at 87
It is with great sadness that I write to you about the death of one of my personal heroes, Howard Zinn. A person who departed from historical orthodoxy to write history books from the minority point of view. His “People’s History of the United States” is a must-read. Good man. Already missed.
